Lemon Cream Cheese Cookies

I just love these little cookies! Not only are they delicious, but they only have 5 ingredients!

Ingredients:

Lemon cake box mix
1 8 oz pkg. of softened cream cheese
1/4 c of butter softened
1 egg
1/4 t of vanilla

Directions:

Beat the cream cheese, butter, vanilla and egg until fluffy. Add half of the cake mix. Mix together and then add the rest of the cake mix.

Drop tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.

Option: These cookies also taste great sprinkled with powdered sugar (once cool).

Makes approx. 3 dozen cookies

  1. I wonder if you could make these with chocolate or any other flavor for that matter, they sounds great.

  2. Yep, you can make them with any flavor. I use vanilla or yellow cake mix and call them cheesecake cookies. Andrew loves them.

  3. I'll definitely have to try them then with other cake flavors!

  4. Tried them today with devils food (chocolate) yum, they were so rich and chewy, a lot like a yummy brownie but like a chocolate cheesecake at the same time. thanks for sharing that
